Default Type R spoiler ?

Hey guys i want to purchase a type R spoiler for my 98 GSR...well first of all heres the place where i want to buy it..http://www.spoilerdepot.com/1994-on-...ers/Item-05128 Has anybody ever used this site? is it reputable? So from my understanding i will be losing my brake light and i will have a whole in my trunk? is that true to people who have one? And if thats true i would like to know the easiest way to cover the whole...i am really not into doing any body work in it so if i could avoid bondo that would be great...maybe buy a pulg or something? but if i really do have to use bondo thats ok i guess anyways any help is appreciated thaks!!!

Weld the hole shut but that means paint and some bondo work.

IMO, never use straight bondo over a hole.

The hole won't show anyway. I ordered my spoiler from spoilerdepot and they are great, they also have great customer service.
If you are worried about the hole you can get a rubber grommet/plug from the hardware store and pop it in.

I bought the true Type R spoiler from the dealer, It came in Yellow. I got it painted red, and has been the best decision in my car. I first had some plugs I think I got from a Lowes or Home Depot, and painted them red with touch-up. After when I have some light damage at the body shop, I ask them to close up these holes. I think they weld them and lightly bondo, like mentioned above. They ended up paint my entire trunk. So yes you will have 2 holes I believe, and temperarly you can plug them up, and when you need to get some body work done, do it all at the same time. Remember to stuff your brake light around some black electrical tape, and seal it in your trunk cap. Buy one from the Dealer! All Bondo in the hole will crack!

here it is.. its great. it does block some of the lights from behind but doe not obstruct any view at all.. i love how my gsr was wings less, made it so easy to mount. just drilled where the spots were under the truck and walla perfect fit

Paid 150 shipped on ebay, it was rough, bad paint and scrapes.. had it painted and body work for 125.. im in love
