E-Brake light on dash wont turn off

the red E-Brake light on my dash wont turn off and i have messed around with the e-brake if anyone has any idea how to turn that off i would appreciate it.

i had the same issue last month, check your brake fluid, mine was extremely low and I filled it up and it went away instantly.
