is this possible?
Hi Honda Tech, lemme get straight to the point. i was wondering if it would be possible to mount a '00 civic's front clip (say bumper and fenders) onto my del sol. if it is possible, how much work am i looking at?
more work and money then you can think of. You would have to cut and weld the fenders together cut and weld on the core support from the doner car. make the hood fit rewire the electrics for the lighting systems. Its not saying it can't be done it would take a lot of work. I have yet to see a front end changed that looks right IMHO

ah, i see. i ask because just dont really like the look of the del sol's stock bumper, and those aftermarket one are just hideous... and i need a new front bumper thanks to a hit n' run a few days ago.
what would a good guess be of the amount of money involved be? im not afraid of getting my hands dirty. what i lack in experience i try to make up for in enthusiasm

There are a TON of threads about exactly this conversion. It pops up every couple days.
As mentioned, it's a big pain in the *** to do this. You need to cut the core support out, weld in a new one. Cut all the fenders in half and weld the kept pieces together (delSol rear, Civic front). Wiring. Test fit all the parts. Drill new holes.
