DA wont rev past 3.5k
92 GS w/ 95 Ls Swap.
P75 Ecu.

just got this car..and every gear im in it wont go past 3.5k
and when it does hit 3.5k, it feels like i have a rev limiter.
i tried searching but i dont really know what the problem is called.
and i tried switching ECUs and still have the same problem..
anybody ever experience anything like this?? im down to try anything.

Fosho hak! get at me with that. right now its not really a big problem cuz i can still get up to 80mph but it sux when u have to shift early..

there is a check engine light, im thinkin its bcuz of the unplugged O2 sensor. but its not the one were i can see it blink on the ecu so i gotta use one of those Testers u plug in under the dash
let me know what u did i have a 90 turbo integra (stock motor with turbo kit) Ever since i got the car it does the same thing to me but i have no cel there is no codes and i have replaced my distributor and lots of other sensors. The only way i can rev past 3.5k is if i stay in 3rd gear at 3.2 rpm and let go of gas the cel comes on and it lets me rev all the way
Wow, all these posts and not one person suggested the obvious. Check out the MAP and TPS sensors, they are they only sensors that have the same plugs. Most likely they are backwards. Switch them and try it out.
