i took off some door panels off an SH to swap onto my base. after putting the panels back on, the power locks don't work very well. it'll lock, but it won't unlock. and seems to struggle to lock anyways. i'm assuming it's just a lever or clip that is out of place but just in case i wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else and what you did to solve it? everything's aligned up just like before as far as the panel is concerned.

i'm not sure if it matters any, but there was the wires with the plug that goes to the courtesy lights, i didn't see them separating anywhere so i just cut them off to splice into my car later on. would this effect the power locks in any way?.. shouldn't right?

 

its just as obvious as it sounds. You did something wrong and its not lined up correctly. Its probably a very small alignment issue, but its enough to make things difficult.

 

dam, i was hoping for a miracle. but i guess i'll give it a 3rd attempt. working in the dark sucks so i quit. thanks for nothing though, lol.

but if someone has a miracle solution i'm all ears

 

one of the rods going to the actuator is probably rubbing against something.

try locking and unlocking it with the panel off and see where it looks like it's
getting hung up.
