Default Barnesville Pics **supermoto**

Rode down to Barnesville with two friends to do a little supermoto on their kart track. This was about my 3rd solid day on the bike (been in the shop) and man what a blast. Me on the KTM, Max(lordmdp) on the black XR, and Jesse on the Choppd SV650 (yes an SV on a supermoto track). What was nuts it that Jess was one of the fastest guys there :2up:

12 oclocks, lol. J/k, the stock rear tail w/ light didn't please me, so I hacked it off haha. I got a small tail light that mounts up under the rear fender. Not to many options out there for the 625 smc unfortunately. I going to try to retro fit a SX rear fender.

Lol, there was a good bit of that. Jesse on the SV crashed in the very first session, tucked the front hard going down the fastest straight into the slowest corner, and dropped it in the slow dirt corner later in the day. Max on the XR crashed twice, once in the tight asphalt corner by spinning out, and in one of the dirt corners. Then I highsided the **** of myself coming out of a tight corner onto the straight, luckily my head and forearm broke my fall lol. Along with alot of other people sliding out, one guy's brake rotor cut his front brake line and he had no brakes going into a tight turn. Luckily no one got hurt.

Looks like a blast!! I want to try a supermoto some time. I just don't know about the jumps because I've never ridden a dirt bike on a proper course. That course doesn't look like alot of jumps though. My kind of supermoto course lol!
