I was just wondering if the owner/driver of the blue and yellow 2nd Gen Integra that ran with Mr. Spoon at the Vancouver Indy sports car race is a member here. I was delighted to see a good ol' second gen out there kickin some booty. Relatively speaking anyway. I think the name on the window said S. Geddes but I could be wrong.

I was sitting with two Mustang owners and it was good to see such a good showing by obviously the Spoon S2000, the "Fork" CRX and some integras. Very few of the mustangs even finished.

I hope somebody can get a picture up. I'd like to see it...

Victor Penner was running his blue/yellow/white Spoon ITR up there, but I haven't seen anyone here who has a car like you described.

This one mustang pulled into the pit and his crew was sprinting toward it with fire extiguishers. One guy went underneath the rear of the car with an extiguisher and then this other guy opened the hood and started jumping around and pointing in the engine bay. Couldn't hear what he was saying obviously, but I gathered that the fire seemed to be originating from that area. The driver chose that moment to leap from the car and call it a day.

 

was that the crazy red mustang driven by Doug Yip? They were next to us in the pitlane, apparently the header fell off or something (that's what they were telling Doug over the radio)

ya, it was nice to see that G2 Integra GSR

there's also a G3 Integra GSR that usually races, but he wasn't at Indy this time for some reason
