del sol power steering rack to manual

Default del sol power steering rack to manual

so i picked up a manual steering rack off an eg for my del sol but now i cant find the write up for it. i kno there was one but i lost it. i think i had to change out a bushing or somethin but im not sure. if someone can help me out lmk, if not ill do my own write up

yeah lmk what you come up with. i was told the cross members are different from manual to power racks.

if you get it to work, i need to put a manual rack in my civic.

yah i kno that was the point of the eg bushing instead of a del sol. somethin with that bushing has to do with it fitting for some reason. ill make it fit though

the civic manual-steering subframe will bolt on, just change it out for one from a junkyard. how much can a subframe be? its not that hard to change either, and having it out will make changing the rack ALOT easier.

the part numbers for the manual vs power are differant, not sure what the differance is but the eg and del sol with power steering share the same subframe, so they have to be interchangable. you need an eg manual steering subframe. you might be able to modify the pwer one but i dont know, just change it and be safe.
