i noticed a senor was missing on my 00 itr(usdm). its under the car near the fuel tank and its just dangling. it located on the drives side right behind the back wheel. ill get a pic up asap. but does anyone have any idea as to what it is?

It sounds like the abs sensor but your abs light would be on.

FTPS - Fuel tank pressure sensor. The ECU uses that to make sure you didn't leave you gas cap open. Eventually you will get a CEL.

Your missing the whole assembly. See the spot in the body where you can see the white paint? The sensor was there when Acura applied the under body coating at the factory.

Time for a trip to the junk yard.

Looks like their is two plugs on it. Maybe the other plug is still attached to it somewhere along the highway?
