Default 97 Accord Lx swap Ex vtec motor

NEED HELPPPP!!!

My car was a Lx model i swap a f22vtec in it... But im having trouble with it.Before it was running on an Lx Ecu now its a Ex ecu, but it acts up. High Idle, around 1.5-2k, if i adjust the Dizzy to make it idle low it will shut off, so i leave it as high as 1.5-2k so the car wont shuts off... The gas is reallly strong..Also Sounds like its a misfired.. With the Lx ecu it wasn't acting up well it only can go up to 4k then it laggs and sometime the car shut off, i think its not enough power going to the Lx.. I had someone wired up the vtec for me too, but it still dont hit vtec. Either the guy did it wrong or its something.. Help me out anyone please, thank you.....

Sorry I dont have the ultimate answer but I would get a wire diagram for each car and start comparing pins on the ECU and go from there.

f22b1 vtec engages low rpm, 2500-3000, for economy purposes. i did the JDM f22b(1) swap in my 92 accord. idles just fine. only thing i need is the correct ECU or chipped P28. right now im running the wrong ECU making redline at 5.5k and not 6.3k.

as for vtec, wire it straight to ECU. vtec solenoid wire + ground + vtec pressure switch.

check out cb7tuner and search for "f22b1 swap"
its how we roll!!!

I will post a video on how the car sounds like maybe that way its easier for ppl to help me out! i really need help ...

1997 accord LX model
Swap a F22vtec
OBD2 to and OBD1 harness
LX ecu runs fine but cant really go pass 4krpm
EX ecu sounds like missfire, i move the adjust the TB and move the Dizzy,
I have to make it idle high around 1.5k and up so it wont shuts off.

What OBD are the two ECUs I know the 97 Lx is OBD2 and you said something about switching to obd1 so I'm guessing that your EX is a 95 OBD1.

Are you running a conversion harness and if so who made it?

Sounds like you may have something mixed up in the conversion Pins. Possibly the injectors......

OBD1 wiring;
INJ1 - A1
INJ2 - A3
INJ3 - A5
INJ4 - A2

OBD2 wiring;
INJ4 - A1
INJ3 - A2
INJ2 - A3
INJ1 - A4

Where did you buy the jumper harness?
Is your check engine light coming on?

While your shooting the vid you should try retrieving the codes from your ECU. That will give us an even better indication of what the problem may be.

Have you had a chance to retrieve the Diagnostic Trouble Code yet?

From the video it looks like it could be a few different things.
Timing could be off, plug wires crossed, fuel injectors not firing in sync. EGR solenoid open during idle. MAP & TPS connections mixed up. If you get the codes It will make it a lot easier to help you.
