one that you change regularly..lol

for that car, i would use castrol gtx 10w30 and a purolator pure one filter.
change it every 3k or earlier depending on how you drive.

for a performance build, after the break in period i would probably use amsoil 0w30, or if i had money to burn i would use torco's top of the line oil.

i would also use a zinc oil additive.

a lot of this depends on the clearances used in the motor. loose motors normally run better with 10-40 or 20-50, stockish tighter ones like 5-30ish. anyway there is a multi page thread on this already in the all motor forum.

I started using Valvoline MaxLife 5w-30 oil year round back in 2002 at about 115K miles. Now 6 years later the car has 272K miles and still runs like a top and gets 32-35 mpg. I change the oil every 3K miles and use an STP oil filter. The engine is pretty much bone stock.

this is good stuff along with the shell rotella diesel oil. for the price it's hard to beat since it's loaded with zinc

I use Castrol GTX High Mileage Formula 10w30.

My engine runs smooth as butter with this oil. Changed every 3k miles or when needed depending on driving habits etc...

I figure by the time it actually does any severe harm to my motor or cause it to blow, I will have saved way more than enough for a motor swap.

I use 5W30 because that's the viscosity recommended by Honda as best for our engines, at all ambient temperatures. (They say you can also use 10W30 when it's above freezing out, but 5W30 is still preferred.) If you check your owners manual or service manual, you'll see that this is true for all Integras sold in North America.

I use 100 percent synthetic oil because it's more resistant to breakdown when hot, and has better flow characteristics when cold, than conventional oil.

I get whatever major-brand full synthetic oil is cheapest, usually either Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum.
