Default LED's going out in gauge

I bought a 99 accord ex the person before me put a really nice LED system in it. Everything lights up a pretty blue color But every now and then the lights behind the speedo and rpm gauge go out. I run a transmission shop so I can get the work done, I just have no clue what could cause this. Any ideas or suggestions to help me look and find my problem.

FYI: It can happen while I'm sitting still at a light, when i just started the car, or when i'm driving. Doesn't seem to be because of bumps or anything like that.

depending on what LED's he used. The number 1 enemy of LED's is Heat. some require a heatsink. or if he didnt properly put in the right resistors to dispurse the electrical load correctly could cause flikkering which will kill them completely soon

I'm willing to be the previous owner just used LED plug n play bulbs.

The red arrows show the bulb holders for the main illumination bulbs, they are 194 type bulbs and you can simpley replace the dying units with new ones.

Led replacement buls generally aren't built to well and over time and with heat will start to fail, flicker or tweak out in some other flavor, in my brother's car I had a pair where one would flicker and one would randomly die and then come back to life...

He used leds from LED Automotive.com

But maybe the bulbs need replaced because they just randomly go out. Been working fine for the past week or so probably just jinxed myself but maybe I should just pull it out and replace the bulbs. see what happens. Thanks

Yea my brothers cluster I'd swapped with led 194 units would randomly come and go, it's simplier and easier to just r/r and be done with it.

Does adjusting the dimmer make any difference?
