Climate control removal
hey guys last night i was in the integra and i slide the **** over to hot (heat) and right before i got to the end i hear a pop and now the slider is just loose in there, so either i broke the cable more more like the plastic piece it attaches too, so now its stuck on heat. I haven't had a chance to pull it out yet and its been over two years since i replaced me heater core and ripped all that stuff out, i can't remember if you can just remove the climate control or did the whole dash have to come out first? Does anyone know of the top of there head?

You can just look under the dash to the left of the glovebox and see if the cable is still attached to the heater box.
Otherwise, remove the emerg. flasher and rear defroster switch, the 2 screws, unhook the cable, and you can pull the center vent assembly out.
Hopefully you didn't break any of those levers on the bottom of the heater box, because then you WILL have to pull the whole dash out in order to replace it.

yea i'm afraid i may have to do that, that would suck! i know changing that heater core took me a whole weekend, but i have been meaning to remove all the A/c components from the dash so i guess it wouldn't be a total loss if i had to pull it, i just know it will be ok until march or april when it starts warming up and the heater is running in a hot car.
