True coilovers(Progress) and corner balancing
Please don't flame if I'm in the wrong forum, but I figured this was the best place to ask. I'm planning on getting Progress' coilovers sometime soon.
I've heard a lot about having to corner balance when installing coilovers. I will eventually because I'm trying to get into autocrossing, but will the car ride like crap(excuse the analogy) if I don't for a little while? Any help or comments will be much appreciated.

not corner weighting the car won't affect the ride as much as the handling performance. it won't feel bad when its not done, but i think it will feel better once its done
As long as you set up the heights properly (evenly from side to side) and the car is not overly front biased or rear biased you should be ok. cornerwieghting is used to help balance a car as close to perfectly as possible. For street use it is not needed at all (as long as you use common sense setting up the heights). As a matter of fact I've had coilovers for a while now and still havn't had the car corner weighted (and I autocross almost every weekend).
Just a general overview... of course there is more to it then I just described but the basic answer to your question is "you should be all right".

Spend your money on track time.
That is, after you re-align the car after installing the new suspension...
Remember the sacred "Racing Trilogy":
1) Driver (development)
2) Suspension
3) Engine
4) Then you can work on the painted helmet...
