Hey guys i dont know wuts going on with my civic the other day i was installing a double din and then when i put my alarm i realize they the locks werent on n then i realized that when the car is off the power locks dont work but when the car is on they r working and then i checked the DOOR LOCK fuse in the fuse box next to the engine and it seemed okay... Probably not a fuse if they're working when the car's on. You must have messed up the wiring somehow installing the alarm, accidentally wired them into the wrong circuit or something. It's hard to diagnose what you're actually dealing with unless you give us more information.

$8 harness adapter > electrical issues

Why people butcher their harness, instead of doing it the right way, is beyond me.

Check the "Back Up" Fuse, under the hood. I had a similar problem when wiring a gauge cluster.

bro! Thank you for this, this just saved me after having an issue with installing an OEM Honda alarm/ key fob system under the head unit. Accidentally touched wires with bad electrical tape job and my locks were doing the same thing this guy was saying. And along with my head until no longer working and my “anti-theft” green key light on the cluster, no longer popped up and couldn’t find the problem for the life of me with fuses that I’d assume they were and after checking the wires for load and it all being good. Then you said this and I ran out and checked the “Back Up/ Fuse #9” under the hood and bam! There it was! Blown 10amp fuse! Everything is now back up and running! Key fob lock, and head unit all good! Thank you again 😎🤝🏼
