To everyone who has swapped an LS with hydro tranny into their EGs...

Do you use the stock civic slave cylinder or use the integra slave cylinder? I used my civic one so i didnt have to bleed the clutch and i have to push it all the way down to the floor hard to change gears. Its totally different than how it was before. I was wondering if the slave cylinders were different between the two chassis. Also, when starting it i have to turn the key all the way forward and practical stomp my foot through the floorboards on the clutch to get it to start. I dont know if the neutral safety switch is messing up or its due to the weirdness of the slave cyclinder...any answers would be great

to the best of my knowledge both are the same. I've always reused the civic slave cylinder when doing B-series swaps and never had a problem. The neutral start switch is on the pedal assembly itself, the slave cylinder has no impact on it at all. I'd say check the engagment hight adjustment on the pedal. It may also have to do with the type of clutch you have with the B-series compared to the D-series (IE heavy duty pressure plate vs stock)

 

i screwed the hight adjustment on the neutral start switch all the way down, it works fine now. I agree with you about a heavy duty pressure plate, i guess i just need to get used to driving a B, huh? lol
