daily driving a teg with no cat and o2 censor in socal?
how many here DD a teg with no cat and or o2 censor? will a cop ever check down there to see if u have a cat if u get stoped? what happens if u get a ticket for loud exhaust? do they make u go to the ref and they check all ur exhaust?
my friend just bought a 92 teg and has a b16 in it and no o2 censor or cat and the ecu where chipped so it runs fine without them and full 2.5 exhaust pipe from the headers...would it be super hard to put everything to stock? i mean a new cat, o2 censor blabla it has dc 4-2-1 headers.....

Yes, if a cop is suspecious he will check to see if you have a cat. They can also pop your hood and look to see if your o2 is connected.
It would not be hard to put it to stock or at the very least, emissions compliant. If the exhaust pipe is connected directly to the header, then you will need a muffler shop to cut and weld flanges for the cat.

I would install the cat and o2 sensor, then see if the check engine light goes away. If the car runs bad or the engine light stays on - either rechip it or better yet, just get another ECU. You can go to the Pick A Part and grab one from a DA or EF.
I dont know what the guy means by "nox sensor", there is no such thing on that car.

now another question...is it worth it to put the cat and o2 censor back on? cuz the car is not bard for a jdm b16a...wouldent we get in the same trouble cuz the car has an ilegal swap?
