Default 2.5" helper springs

ANyone know where i can find a set of helper spring, or assist springs. I'm having an issue with my coilover loosing traction over bumps, and my old tein that had helper spring, never had this issue. I think adding them would help. THe cheapest I found was $100 for two tiny 220# assist springs... I could get new softer coil springs for less than that...
Better yet, anyone have a pair collecting dust that I could buy off them?

I doubt that you are completely unloading your springs over bumps, so I don't think helper springs will help. It's probably a damping issue.

And if you were unloading your springs over bumps, then you would want tender springs, not helper springs

I was actually kinda curious about this myself.

I believe my rear GC's seem to be unloading themselves on occassion and as a result don't seat back 100%

From what I could find the tender springs threaded on a little bit onto the GC Eibachs to prevent them from popping out of place?

I'll check out the tender springs... Swift calls them assist springs, I think they are the same things. But ya, I'm unloading them. It's not damping... I've adjusted them all the way stiff, and it's not enough to control the spring. All the way soft is like a pogo stick...

I think that's your problem. You made the damping too stiff and now your shocks don't have a chance to extend out all the way

No, like I said, If I have the dampening any looser the suspension get even worse. Much worse actully. If you've seen a car with the springs too stiff and not enough damping, it bounces all over the place... that's what I have right now at my stiffest shock setting.

One seperate issue is that I don't have much travel with my 6" spring. Having the assist or tender spring will help me out I think. And it will give a bit of progressive rate when it's unloaded.
