i just purchased a set of ep3(si hatchback)seats and i just noticed that the rails look a lil bit shorter then my stock ones on my ek..has any1 ever placed these into there ek??how can i make them work ,,are the pans interchangeable??

 

i looked in the FAQ and they dont have any diy's. they have del sol seats though and they guy had to swap rails. i'm not sure, but you should be able to swap they rails out...it's not that hard, you just gotta go for it. take pics and make a diy for the faq.

 

You CANNOT swap rails or pans on EP3 seats. You need serious fabrication skills to get them to fit. This has been covered many times before. It has been done but people have to modify the rails alot or make custom brackets. IMO they are too big for an EK, but some people have gotten them to look good.

 

well the pans and rails dont swap in..you were right..the only thing that i noticed is that i can cut the metal of the ek where the screws go into and weld it to the ep3 rails..

Please search in the future. The how to is pretty much cut and reweld the brackets. The seats are going to sit higher than stock though so be prepared. I did a lot of research on here to find out what seats to put in my car without ever creating a new thread. I decided to go with s2000 seats because you can swap the pans... Good luck with your install...
