wideband o2 question

Default wideband o2 question

i just got a wideband o2 sensor and i has 4 wire 2 white,1 black,and 1 grey, is it possible to hook it up to you old o2 sensor, or you have to do some custom wiring, anybody got some hints please let me know, i was planning to to splice each wire to the old one but don't know what each wire is for

What type of 4 wire wideband O2 did you get?

From the wire colors that you posted it sounds more like a universal fit narrow band O2 (Bosch).

white = O2 heater circuit (+)
White = O2 Sensor circuit (+)
Black = sensor & heater ground (-)
Grey = Narrow band signal (0.5v-1v)

Fail, sounds like you got a narrowband 4 wire not a wideband.
