hello, i recently bought a 95 cx hatch and it came with ls mesh wheels, they are in decent shape but after i cleaned them up the dark color on the sides of the spokes pretty much came off. i like they looked. so was i just dirt and **** causing the dark color or are they suppose to be painted like this?

So my question is what color is it suppose to be from factory, thanks

i got me a set of ls mesh rims, i dunno what to do 3 are painted black and i want to remove the paint, after i remove the paint is the bare metal stainless ? or am i suppose to add clear coat?

 

no dont worry about using the clear coat. if you use Aircraft remover then it will be polished.
