Did you check out http://www.nasaproracing.com and go to the Virginia site? Also check Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia for some later this year.
Best bet is to check the websites of the club chapters in your area and of the tracks you're interested in (some of the tracks list a complete schedule including club events, others only list spectator events).

Now, when someone is having a track day, whatever club it may be, do i just go to their site and register if im interested? or show up, or how does it usually work? This will be my first(providing weather and school dont cause any problems) so im not sure how they are run.
Thanks for the help guys

Some club events fill up - and some fill up FAST. The key to getting in to the ones in big demand is to check the rules on how they take people. For example, with some, it's first come, first served, so obviously the sooner you send your application in, the better. With some, they start accepting applications only if they're postmarked no earlier than a certain date, so you maximize your chances by mailing it ON THAT DAY. With some, you have to already be a member of the club to sign up; others will take non-members but you have to pay dues along with the registration fee.
Many (but not all) of the club chapters outline their sign-up rules on their websites and have application forms available there. Or, you can ask them how to maximize your chances of getting in.
You ALWAYS have to sign up in advance. They will send you an information packet that outlines the advance stuff like including a tech sheet for your mechanic to fill out before you get to the event, what to bring, etc.
