I own a 2001 Accord coupe since sept.2004.

You might want to check those areas to make sure your car isnt already infected. Yes, i live in Quebec, where we have shitty temperatures, and ALOT of salt on the roads in winter.

This is what i found on my car (i wish i had found it earlier, lol)

What it looks after a rough brushing/chiseling;

I poured tons of rustproofing grease down there to help it slow down for winter. It looks like i'll have lots of shitty work to do in the spring

So if you plan to keep your car, check under those rubber seals to make sure you wont be running into some nasty surprises
