Default b18c1 compression test results

in my ef i have a b18c1 stock block with b16 head stock also. I did a compression test and i was jus wondering what you guys think of the results,

With throttle closed (forgot to open it) i got
no 1 cyl 190
2 cyl 165
3 cyl 185
4 cyl 185

with throttle open i got
1 cyl 140
2 cyl 150
3 cyl 195
4 cyl 160
I know you suppsed to do the test with throttle open but i forgot so theres the results with it open and closed. What you guys think.

i know a stock gsr motor should be pulling at least 225, i dont think the b16 head should change the compression (but i could be wrong), but the car should be warmed up when doing these tests, did you warm it up?

the car should be warmed but its dangerous cuz u might strip the head taking the spark plugs out, anyway i don't think ur valves are bent because the compression would be lower but they may need adjustment.

Yes I did do the test with the car fullwarmed up. Also I adjusted the valves about 2 months ago but ill check them again. Also does anybody know how much air to apply to each cylinder on a leakdown test for this motor?

no more then 90 psi i believe, or something around that...but your starting leakage reading should be 0 regardless of however much air your putting in, also did you try a wet compression test to check the piston rings?

I didnt try the wet compression test im going to do it tomorow morning along with the leakdown. Im using a homemade leakdown tester btw that i made. Hopefully i dont blow up the motor.

Not sure if this helps, but I recently did a comp test on my JDM B18C and got the following results:
1-225, 2-230, 3-230, 4-230
I was told this was a very healthy motor by the shop.
Leakdown test was 98% sealed.

with the b16 head on a stock gsr block, compression should drop 0.2 so it should be at 9.8:1. do the cylinder leak down test wet & dry as it'll tell you which internal part is causing the lower compression IE piston rings, intake valves, exhuast valves, bad headgasket\warped head

Isnt us gsr compression ratio 10.6:1?
