problems 91 civic with b18a swap

Icon3 problems 91 civic with b18a swap

i have a 91 civic with a b18 swap with headers, skunk2 intake manifold, performance throtle body, msd ignition, msd twostep, aem fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator, stage 3 clutch with lightened flywheel, intake, and possibly more idk i bought it like this... but it just feel like it should be faster then it is any suggestions???? please im stuck

are you still using the stock ls trans? if so thats why its so slow. you need to get a b16 trans.

i am using stock ls trani but its a 91 civic with cable clutch i dont even think they make a b16 trani with a cable clutch and i dont know where to get a conversion and think that would be very expenisive

There is your problem!! You have more then 1 header .... Seriously though,get a b16 trans and they do come cable....

and even if you cant find a cable b16 trans you can get adapters for the hydro trans to work with the cable pedal. its not rocket science and sure the crap isnt hard to find either. its more or so a matter of MONEY!!!

can anyone point me in the right direction of where i can buy a good b16 cable tranni or the adapter kit for a hydro clutch?

innovativemounts and hasport sells the adapter, as for cable trannys you can find em on honda tech or just contact websites like hmotorsonline.com or noyanusa.com

Default one other thing

my fuel presure regulator gauge says im running at 30 psi but my air fuel ratio gauage actually tells me im running slightly rich.... is this even possible i see that 36-38 psi has been the most recomended for optimal running but i do have a large throtle body and intake manifold could this have anything to do with it.... im sorry im new to hondas i use to tune mazda rx-7's only

the running a tad rich is normal. hondas run a tad rich because of the high rpms most of them reach(7k-9k+). this is done so if its to lean in a hard pull it wont lean to much and cause major detonation. detonation will destroy any high rpm motor if its to lean of a mixture. turbo cars usually run a tad rich as well even though they are tuned damn near perfectly from the factory.

ok so its ok but.... the psi is only at 30 i havnt seen a single post where someone is running with a fuel psi that low
