Default ITR swaybars ore ek9 swaybars

Hello all,

i was trying to fit ITR swaybars on my ek3

but i came to the fact that it wouldn't work becaus of the endlinks pointing down.

i wanna know if the ek9 swyabars are the same as ITR ore are they the ones i can use...

here i have found two pictures... each link gives a swaybar picture...

here is what i find on the internet about the swaybars and it endlinks

ITR swaybar

ek9 swaybar

i wanna know if these pictures are correct.... because if it is i can use the ek9 swaybar... because the endlinks should go in my tow arm from the side and not from the top like the ITR does

hope someone can help me out on this

greetings

Not real familiar with the EK3 chassis. Does it have a front swaybar stock? If so, what style of end link does it have now?

If you have no front swaybar now:

You would need Civic Si (US model, B16 DOHC engine) lower control arms (or CTR) to run the CTR front swaybar.

You would need Civic EX (US model, D16Y8 SOHC VTEC engine) lower control arms to run an ITR front swaybar. In the US, the EX model used the same style endlinks on the front swaybar as the ITR (and all other Integra) front swaybars.

I recall reading that Civics outside the US were all equiped with the stamped steel version of the front control arms though that may be incorrect. Compare the type of control arm on your car with the pictures in the original post and use the corresponding sway bar.

I assume the ek3 is 96-00 chassis. IIRC, it won't take an itr bar.
