Default SOO glad my car paged me....

So was sitting around tonight with some friends watching a movie, bout 12:15am my car starts paging me, as soon as i hear it i run for the door head on out and get to where my car is supposed to be within 15secs......

Not there, but i see it on the back of a tow truck 2 blocks down and the siren is still going

Now i was there maybe 1hr and 30mins before this happened, and long story short, to park at my friends apartment....i need a guess pass. And just so happens that my friends moved in two days ago and were not given friend passes.

Anyway cost me $160 got it maybe 15mins after they picked it up. But i tell ya what, if i car didnt page me.......

be glad it wasn't a thief. you parked in someone elses parking spot and they called on you.

it must have taken a while for it to set off. no tilt sensor?

And now a thief will know what alarm they need to bypass when they do try to steal it.

It's not a good idea to post that kind of info on public boards man.

Oh believe me, ive spent many of years on here hearing and reading about the horrors of having your car stolen. And have spent the time and alot of money to help slow that (cant ever prevent it) from happening.

Ya'll are true, havent posted in a while should def not put my alarm brand up there. Thanks for taking care of it

so the car was on dollies or wast tilted hanging by a hook or on a flatbed?
Im lost?

it sounds to me that you payed $160 to get your car back from people that failed to steal it.
Those towing companies are shady....
think about it
$160 to tow it plus storage
or
couple of $$$$K to strip it.

It was on dollies.

This area, well where i was, is notorious for towing your vehicle. Close to the college campus and such. They make a ton of money towing people here

That is a common way of stealing vehicles. Keep an eye out any time you see a flat bed driving around after 11pm, unless it says "24 hours" somewhere on the truck cab.
