So is anyone else having alot of promblems with theres? I have a 07 lx 4dr already had the driver door fixed once now the same one and the drivers rear need to be replaced. Are these commom with the civics. Never had any promblems with my other hondas.

 

on my fg2 iv noticed since its been getting cold out, my left door makes noise everytime i unlock, like a higher pitched moan. still works fine tho

 

mine does that too its like a bird like sound

 

I think everyone is having this problem mine have been replaced all the way around.

 

X2. Same thing happened when I locked my old car, but it only happened 6 years after I bought it, not 5 months as with my civic.

 

Sorry for the bump, but has anyone else had this little annoyance? It's starting to become more prevalent and I'm concerned that it could be a sign that the lock is about to go. I'm assuming that the actuator or the locking mechanism themselves are underlubricated or something to that effect. Any input is welcome.

 

I've got an 09 and it does that bird noise like you guys have all described. It's not every time, but it's pretty common.
