ok, first off i have a 91 civic dx. i'm doing a d16y8 swap. i'm converting from obd2 to obd1, to make things easier. my friend has an ls wire harness he is selling me for 10 bucks. complete, less a few plugs ect.... my question is will the harness work, it is obd1. but are there alot of differences between the two? thanks in advance.

 

Nope the ls harness will not work. you need the stock harness from your car and then you'll need to convert it from dpfi to mpfi

after that you can get an obd0-obd1 jumper harness and run the y8 with a z6 p28 ecu.
