Default y1 tranny

Hey guys i am finally getting around to putting my b16 and y1 tranny combo in my rex. I have the electric vss that wont work and i have been told and it states in the faq section to use a mech. vss from a 90-93 teggy, do i need to swap the gears on the ends cuz i cant get the one from the teg to work, please help

The faq is correct, the 90-93 teggy works perfect. You can also use the mechanical vss from the 88-91 civic/crx. I used the one from my 89 Si trans it works flawlessly, despite the slight difference in length between the the two. No need to swap any gears, just remove the old electric vss as an entire unit and install the replacement.

You are doing something wrong or under the impression you have a 90-93 one but really dont. What problem are you having while trying to fit the integra vss?
