Default 02 Civic Si Hatch Project (Need Help)

Ok to cut a long story short i just purchased an 02 si hatch that was rolled for a local dirt oval track i race on next season. Car still ran and steers fine, thing is the previous owner had it super charged and has since took it off and sold it so i just got done putting the intake manifold and tb back on along with new gaskets. This is my first time messing with any k series but have pleny of knowledge with d, b and h series. Basically everything in the car has been stripped. I got plenty of power cus i tried 2 different batteries and the lights and horn still work when i hit the alarm but i dont hear the fuel pump kick on or the gauges come on when i turn the key forward. Is there some kind of sensor that may be off or something i need to check? Im gonna have alot more questions just hoping i can get a few guys to help me through this project. Thanx

im not getting nothing when i turn the key forward. Only thing i can get is when i hit the lock n unlock button on the alarm which flashes the gauge lights. After the car was wrecked/rolled the guy drove it home and it was fine. Is there anything sensor wise that could of got unplugged when he removed some things thats not letting it get power? Im gonna try the battery from my del sol t/m to make sure its not that even tho i tried 3 others tonite LOL

Next problem, got it running but surges which im guessing is a vaccum leak? not familiar with what or how many vaccum lines are on here and where but everything seems to be connected except for one skinny looking vaccum line coming from the center or the firewall area, not sure where that went. Also he had a larger hose, i think it was an oil type breaker coming from a port on the left front side of the engine right between the intake manifold and pulleys. Seemed to have had it running across the front of the engine to the drivers side. Only thing i did change was the coolant lines to the throttle body, just looped them back into each other, not sure if that would hurt anything since it is pretty cold out right now. Anyone have any ideas?

found out the small vaccum line went to a boost guage. the large line taps in to a port on the right side of the top front pulley, right to the left of the intake manfifold. line then runs under the intake manifold to who knows?? Previous owner cant remember either.

the top front pulley on a civic si would be the idle pulley. i don't recall any lines being connected to that. post pics

i cant get a pic right away but will soon as i can. I would be located to the right of that pulley coming off a bracket attatched to the head, right next to the intake manifold, hose is the same size as the brake booster vaccum line.

A problem a lot of peolpe run into is that there is no coolent or an air bubble in the TB on first start up after switching out throttle body and or intake mani., and it causes the surge at idle.

so should i hook those coolant lines back up to the tb? also is there a bleeder for the coolant lines? Would not having the intake sensor attatched do anything since i just have it hanging there for now?

Next question, i found a few different cams for CHEAP brand new. First one is Skunk 2 stage 1, second Skunk 2 stage 3 and other Brain Crower stage 3. Im not lookin to make alot of hp for what im racing the car for. But i can get all three of these cams right now for around 200 new. Skunk 2 says the stage 1 makes around 17 hp which aint bad, but with the stage 3, either brand, do i have to upgrade my valvetrain? Also would it be pointless to drop stage 3 in with stock internals? Fill me in with info on anyone with cams on an a3. Thanx

yes pointless to do any stage 3 without many supporting mods. anything above and including a stage 2 requires upgrade of the stock valvetrain.

The PCV valve and hose is located in the same location as you're describing.

i found the original L shaped hose and ran it back into the side of the intake port that was overlooked.
