V-AFC worth is or not?

Default V-AFC worth is or not?

i know this topic is like DEAD but i am just giving a try.

i have been thinking for a while about getting vafc but what do you all think? it worth it or what?

and could you explain why? or why not?

depends on what your application is....and what you want to use it for!

just to dump fuel and change vtec then yes...well worth it!

Without knowing yor mods and what you intend to do with the car, it's hard to give an answer.

At a minimum you need hotter cams, and plan on dyno tuning

I'd say at this point in your mods, it's a waste of money. Wait till you get the cams and buy both at the same time.

.....since we're talking about allmotor, $100/whp is about right and in this case you stand to gain much more than that:

You'll get gains now from dyno tuning an i/h/e setup with the vafc for sure - as much as 10-15whp in the midrange from moving your vtec engagement point and cleaning up the fuel delivery...

It'll be helpful for tuning those cams also... and a good monitor of other things like throttle position, rpm, and vtec engagement..... peak recall is good too...

will hondata have all the tuning i need.. ill be goin to dyno also, im talking about VTEC controller, air fuel controler... those things..

I wouldn't reccommend skunk 1's for your ITR you will not get any real gain at all. Toda B's or Jun 2's would be more ideal. Or go all out and get some C's or Jun 3's.

What's this I see? I skunk stage1 graph that proves it makes power. This is MPHs car and I've ridden in it and it most definitely makes power.

I just got the jun 3 head package, and now i see this..lol....
I,H,E Kenji's ecu, no p/s, a/c belts and vafc & tuning. 193 whp on stock ecu without any fuel tuning. I've said it before and I will say it again. Stage 1's and basic bolt-on's & cam gear tuning = 190+whp. Jun 3's and some higher compression and you'll have a nice chart

It's ok, most people don't know. Everyone thinks JDM stuff is the only way to go. Wait till my new cam set-up in a couple of weeks. Hint: It's not a Japanese name.

i have basically all the bolt-on mod so far

H/I/E, flywheel, pully, power steeringless,

Magnacore, test pipe.

do u guys think its worth for me to get a V-AFC and go on a dyno machine

or just get a Hondata stage 2??
