when the button is pushed i can hear a click coming from the motor, car is at the body shop for paint so they suggest the motor is pooched, i have a spare civic si sunroof, does anyone know if the motors are the same, so i can just swap motors.

not 100% sure but i think it is the same, dont see why honda would make a different motor for the rex then the civic

 

the motors are different and carry different part numbers:

CRX - 70450-SH2-S01

Civic - 70450 - SG0-S01

 

well there you go lol i learned something new today

 

you can probably use it if you get a diff connection cable for it put them side by side
