what do i need for a h22A swap into a 96 integra ls engine trany wat else?
hey guys. i have an stock automatic 96 integra ls. i am looking to do an engine swap and also change it to manual. I am about to buy a Prelude engine (h22A engine) and i just wanted to know what else do i need?
You need integra or civic pedals, clutch master cylinder and entire clutch line, ecu, shift linkage, passenger side manual mount (welded to the car) or a hasport transmission mount to work with an automatic car to switch to B series. To go H series I would recommend all of that, and the find a b series transmission and look into a nice H2B kit. This allows you to use the H series engine, and the b series transmission including axles and shift linkage...trust me it is better that hacking up your car to go H series. Then all you will need to do is to make your own harness using the H22 and your ls harness, or just send the two to Hasport and they'll make it happen for you for a price. Good luck!
