Default Differential Bearing swap f22->f23?

Hello all,

I have an 2002 honda accord se with an f23 engine/ automatic transmission.
The problems that I am having are:

Transmission fluid leak on both axle seals.
"Flares" when shifting from 1 -> 2 gear.

I plan to get under there and replace the axle seals. Though I am almost 90% sure that I will be able to see damaged differential bearings which will need to be replaced.

Now, I have an f22 transmission here at home from i think a 97 model with 66k...

My question then is:

Are the Differential Bearings in the f22 / f23 transmissions swappable?

additionally...

What internal parts of the Automatic transmission would cause the 1-2 shift flair if they were to become damaged or fail?

And could those parts be swapped from the f22- f23?

I could just sell the f22 but my return on it wouldnt be enough to cover the parts and time to fix the f23 or buy a new one, so I would rather( if possible) use the f22 tranny as a parts transmission, and also take the time to learn more about one of the most complicated systems in a vehicle.

You will not be able to see the differential bearings by taking the axle out.
The bearings are different between the years you mention.
As far as replacing them...buy new ones and use the correct procedure for setting the race depth, in the trans housing.

But thats the easy part.......what are you planning to do about all the metal flake contamination that is spread thru the entire trans?

im just hoping its only the seals around the axel that are faulty - i dont want them to be failing due to a bearing : /. if so i can go buy a bearing kit. I will find out today when i do an axel swap how bad the leak is and if I can fix it.
