I have a boosted gsr, JE pistons Eagle rods, Arp headstuds, and AEM cam gears (currently zeroed out). 9:1 compression ratio. Im tuned at 16psi making around 400whp and was wondering how much an effect i would have if i ran ITR cams instead of gsr. My head is currently stock. I figure puting ITR cams in it would help move more air which in result spooling my turbo quicker/faster but dont want to damage my valvetrain seeing that it is stock.
So my questions are
1. Would this be worth it?
2. How much effect of spooling my turbo and power gains will i have?
3. How hard/bad will this be on my stock valvtrain??
Please note that this car is my DD in the summer time.
THANKS!

they actually help from the people i've talked to. however, i think you would do better with the crower forced induction cams

if you still have the GSR manifold get rid of it and tune on a single runner

Not if you just do cames and nothing else

You will not have huge gains. Its still a stock cam and you will need to use better valve springs.

The thing is, if you use it with the oem GSR redline it wont do **** but wear out your valve springs. The GSR valve springs are not used to the higher lift.
Do what IDRIVESIDEWAYS sugested.
