mounting the oil catch line to the valve cover /intake is NOT the proper way...

it needs to be mounted to the PCV...which is on the water pump housing

here its is mounted to the PCV & to the valve cover

RBC IM

see it works

edit - 3/8" =.38" 10mm =.39" & -6an hose equals 3/8"

^^ the pic above is NOT how it should go...where are you getting vaccum from to help draw from crankcase? the pcv valve is being pulled my the intake mani which you just bypassed.

You need a vac source. Either:
PCV----- Can-----IM
OR
PCV and Crankcase breather ----- Can ----- IM

i was told bu 2 different sources you DON'T need a vacuum...infact the best way to do this would be with a baffled oil catch can with a pcv valve on it connected to a breather (remove/relocate OEM stock pcv valve)....with NO other line (running to IM)

works better if you eliminate the IM connect & run a open system thereby not introducing blow-by vapors back into the IM

I have just verified this with SEVERAL people including well know engine builders

EDIT - someone very experienced w/K motors told me to go closed loop with the connection to the IM
