Default Charging Issues

I have searched google, and this forum found nothing that even explains my problem.

I have a 91 accord stock. The charging system has serious issues it charges and the does not charge now more not then does.

What i have done:
Changed Battery, Alternator, Battery cables, Engine Grounds, and fusiable link.

What i have done testing wise.

I have a alternator tester which is also a battery tester basically just a volt ohm meter. I tested all wires coming from alternator and the blk/yel. Has power The wht/blu. has power. I have opted to not test the wires that go to ECM. The charge wire is producing 14.4 volts at idle when the wire is disconnected from system. Also produces the same when the battery is disconnected and when i Connect it to battery while running.

When i shut off car and restart the alternator is no longer charging untill i disconnect the battery and reconnect.

Keep in mind this is a new battery. The alternator is used however i bought a new one when this one failed and it produced the same results so i returned it. The old on was test at my local autozone and the machine says its working. This and one other alternator i have for the car. Including the new alternator this is 4 that are all doing the same thing.

I also check every fuse i came across (Both fuse panels) and all are good.

Any suggestions?
Chris

Does your car have an ELD, this is a Honda item. I also only like new or rebuilt OEM alternators.

Could anyone tell me where i can locate the ELD or at least give me a idea of where i should start looking.

The alternator is used but in good condition, I did not want to put out the money for a new one. I have already spent a lot of money on this car.

Also is there a way to bypass the ELD

PS:

Thanks for the response

Is it part of the ECU or is there a module that can be replaced? Is there a way to bypass that circuit all together?

Maybe this link will help you;
FWIW; I think the ELD IS available as a separate unit now

It was that part, I have found that some accord fuse boxes can be disassembled and some can not, The on i got that part from came apart easy mine did not.

The car runs, Charges, and did not take the trip down green mile.

*Update

The car still has the charging problem, When i did that it worked for like a day, then replace the fuse box. It was still only showing 9-10 volts on the charge.

I sold the car as is informing them of the problem that the car has, The car was later totaled a block away from me.
