head gasket upside down??
now that everything is back together, could there be any indications that my head gasket was put on the wrong way??? is there anything that would happen right away or is it something that would happen in the long term?
im getting a code 6 (ECT sensor) that i wont go away. is that of any relavence?

ummm........it would be kind hard to put the headgasket upside down.............some of the coolan holes and dowels probably wouldent line up........and i belive the gasket has a "UP" marking on it.......
you ECT sensor might be messed up though........replace it and see if the engine light goes away......

The headbolt holes actually dont line up, the vtec oil feed hole in the gasket would be near #1 exhaust side, and water wouldnt flow right if you still managed.
If you leave the sensors under the distributor unplugged, or they're broken you will get that code.

If you put your head gasked on upsidedown you WILL know it. There will be oil everywhere.
Try replacing the sensor. Or better yet, do the Helm troubleshooting procedure for a code 6. That will solve your problem.
