No heat! (already searched, need help!)
Heat comes out of the vents barely. Its warm, but my fan controls dont work. Already replaced resistor and blower motor. What else could it be? Man its freezing in this d@mn car!
Alright, thanks for the info.
Since the blower motor works you know it's at least getting power and ground, so that means the motor is good and is working properly. The motor's speed is variable depending on the amount of voltage it receives. Basically all the blower motor resistor does is short the motor out to drop the voltage, thus making it spin slower or faster. Usually when the resistor is bad the motor will only work on the highest setting and none of the others, so you can pretty well rule out the resistor being bad. I'm guessing that you may have an issue with the actual control switch itself being bad.
I would say that you should pull the connector to the motor and test to see what you have for voltage. IIRC you should see battery voltage at the positive terminal. After that, check the resistance on the negative terminal. When you change the speeds you should see the resistance change. If it doesn't I would check the resistances across the terminals on the resistor to ensure it is working properly and inspect the resistor make sure that the coils are not broken or corroded. If that all checks out the only thing in line next is the control itself. Sometimes you can score those out of the junkyard in good shape for pretty cheap - I got one for my Accord for like 20 bucks that was in great shape, just a little dirty.

But the blower isnt pushing anything out. When Im moving I can feel heat slowly seeping from the vent. But no force what-so-ever. I probably should have clarified that I have to be moving for something to actually seep out. Sorry bout that.
