I have a 94 accord that I recently swapped from automatic to 5spd. To my knowledge I did everything correctly but when I go to start the car nothing happens. The radio, interior lights and windows won't function but the door locks work. Could this possibly be a relay?

what do u mean like the clutch safety switch? i didnt get the clutch one i bipassed it i am pretty sure that all the wiring is right but the problem is the it wont start it wont let my cdplayer turn on or let my windows go down... i just got a new battery new starter the alternator was replaced a couple months ago so everything is pretty new .... but the car its self had a security thing like i had to push a button then start the car for it to work but that was disabled by a local mechanic and it worked after that so i figured i could remove it so it could be that but if it was disabled already then why would it be messed up when i actually removed it... its just weird and doesnt make sense to me at all?

 

If this security system had either a Starter Kill or Remote Start functionality there may still be a relay or module lurking from that system which is playing games with you.
Did he remove the system or just disable it?

h disabled it and i removd the little box and stuff it wasnt a remote start or nething along those lines it didnteven have an alarm it was weird like u had to push a button in to make the car start and if u didnt push it in it wouldnt even click over which is kinda what it is doing now but i never thought to look for a relay or a fuse... someone from honda did disable it though but i know it wasnt removed at all and i already threw it away lol my luck.... thank you im going to look for a fuse or something today i know it was a honda security thing so maybe if i call honda and ask how to get rid of it theyll have a way

 

I've never heard of that before, you pushed a button and turned the key? How do you know it was actually genuine Honda?

 

That switch he'd refered to is the valet select switch for an aftermarket Alarm system. Depending on how it's programmed, it can also act as a alarm system over-ride.
Honda OEM systems do not have this functionality (switch) (I believe)

ok i went out couldnt find a fuse or ne thing i did find out that the security thing was a chapman security system and i removed it all... it was completely disabled and now im stuck again... the windows still dont go down and the radio still wont start i did the wiring right and i checked every fuse i looked at the wire diagrams like 500 times and went over what i did so many and what i have done is correct.. i have no idea now what it could be do you know ne were that the relay could be sitting or ne thing
