hi, just wanted to check up on this lil prob i have w/ my 02 rsx-s , i noticed in reaaaallly cold weather or moderate when i turn the key it has a delay start takes a while to turn on . Has any one had issues like this!?!? is it the battery,clutch, or ignition!?!? help thanks!!!!

 

A while as in how? Do you have to crank a few or does it just crank til it starts?

 

yea, you should be more elaborate. My old car used to do something weird like that too. You would turn the key and nothing would happen, not even any cranking for like 1-2 seconds. Hope you figure out your problem. Be more specific

 

Well..... its like a 2sec delay and then starts!!!! i dunno should i take it to the dealer i still have warranty on it like till the end of this month. But when i take it to the freakin dealer they are like nope theres nothing wrong w/ it! blah blah etc.... i dunno any advice ? !? thanks guys !!

 

You probably just need new spark plugs. When the whether is cold the engine tends to do that alot. Even mine did. After throwing in the NGK-R Iridiums, it starts just fine fine. I live in denver and now its only 10-7 degrees and after those plugs it doesnt do it. Im not saying that you HAVE to get the iridiums but just plugs in general.
