hey guys i was curious on a few things before i use my hookup for these items.

i was planning on getting the skunk2 intake manifold and a skunk2 throttle body.

1. how is the fitment on the intake manifold?
2. i heard that it comes close to the firewall, will i need to remove stuff from the firewall to get it to fit correctly?
3. what throttle body size should i get? (turbo'd d16a6)
i was thinking of 70mm. not sure if this will cause any fitment or any other issues.
4. what is the stock throttle body size we have on the 91 wagon 4wd?
5. does the intake manifold and the throttle body from skunk2 move the pipe position? the pipe im mentioning here is the one that connects to the throttle body from the front which feeds air into it. i need to know if i need to get this charge pipe rewelded or can i just fit it directly on once i get it.


if you guys have pics of your skunk2 parts on your car i would appreciate any links or post with pics.

I would use a OBD1 B16 throttle body and send it to Maxbore

 

Your IACV will contact the firewall with the Skunk2 intake mainfold. Some people dent the firewall for clearance. I personally shaved the mounting brackets down on the IACV for clearance and it works fine. I don't have any pics at the moment.

Skunk2 TB's tend to have throttle plates that stick. I'd go with a Professional Products TB or use Maxbore.

 

will i need a new gasket between the throttle body and intake manifold
or do they supply that in the box?


i dont think i have ever heard of Professional Products TB or maxbore.

 

please explain more?
will there be fitment issues?
