Koni Yellows and Spring Rates

Do you guys happen to know what the highest LBS/Spring Rate I can run the on a stock valved Koni yellow adjustable rear shock without damaging it.

there is LOTS of talk about this in the competition forum. err the road racing/autox forum. search feature here sucks *** though. i believe the koni rep said 400lb but there are people running 500 without probs.
I finally got the answer back from Koni....
I asked him about running in 500LBS springs in the rear, He said the Konis should be able to dampen just fine, but it WILL reduce the life of the shock.
He recommended me to have thme revalved when i get a chance, then I could run an even higher spring rate.
I guessing im going to have them re-build and revalved when as soon as i blow them.
By the way, the peeps at Koni seem really coo and really knowledgeble
