Default Help?Painting fiberglass?

How do I repaint fiberglass?
I bought a fiberglass lip for my car and its the wrong color. (well it was used) and a decent price ..
Reading from here and there, I found that I need to block sand it with 180 then 220 grit?
Then I need to apply a good primer?
Then do I just paint it the color of my car (black) and then clear coat it? No flex agent or anything needed?

you shouldnt need to add flex agent to fiber glass but you could its mor or less for abs bumpers. you could get a color matched paint that has clear already in it.

What I'd need to do is take ~ 400 grit; then 800 and primer it?Let it dry..Then Sand with 1000 grit?
And then take the black spray paint and spray it..Then clear it?
Would napa be the best bet for the spray paint since they can mix it in house from what I've heard?

if the lif is in good condition .. didn't need any filler , so you should do :
400 or 500 grit

and paint

maybe need some primer spots .. if you removed all the paint on some spots of the lip . Only apply primer where you see the fiberglass
