Default HOW TO INSTALL PRELUDE FOGS ON CRX

THIS PICS MIGHT HELP INSTALL YOUR PRELUDE FOGS MEANWHILE YOU OBTAIN SOME JDM FOGS. IT IS FAIRLY SIMPLE. YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE BUMPER AND DRILL ONE HOLE ON EACH SIDE. THAT'S IT.

this is how they should look.

you did right by having to remove your bumper. First of all, adjustability was an issue. I actually bolt them into the bumper itself. Not a good idea. Every time i went through a bump or something it would knock them crocked. Not sturdy enough in my opinion. So i did the next best thing. I drill through the actually bumper support (same as you). Same angle and everything. Threw in a few washers also and bammm. it works great. now my fogs don't move for ****. i mean that. at the same token im able to adjust them via side to side and up and down. I also plan on installing 3000k HID slim kit for better visibility. Don't get me wrong , im not hating on your installation. like i said I did it the same way you did. I'm sure this will help a lot for those who plan in installing Prelude foglights in there in EF. There the next best thing next to authentic jdm EF foglights.

That's pretty dope. I'm exited on how its going to look. I'm doing the same thing. Except I have 6000K in the fronts. Any pics on the setup and where did you mount your ballasts? I'm glad you posted this!!!!

Where to get 88-89 Prelude fogs? Pick-n-Pull or your local junkyard is the cheapest place to get them. I found a pair last week. There was another Prelude with fogs but the glass on one of them was broken.

yea i got lucky ...one day i decided to type in prelude fogs on craigslist and some dude was selling them,....he had them on his ep3...and the wiring is really simple...any one who does decide to put 3000K hid's on them make sure u use 10 gauge wire and a relay....when i first did it i used 16 gauge and i was not getting enough power to both ballasts...yup so junkyard.....

What if you buy one of those foglights from Autozone and use the wiring harness?

The JDM EF9 round fogs on a USDM bumper? I thought the fog light surrounds (rubber boot between fog light and bumper) would not line up...

Care to post pics?
