I recently got a carbon fiber hood and i put it on myself and it closed and locked fine...but i removed my front strut bar and then it wouldn't close so i put the strut bar back in and the hood still will not close all the way. What could be the reasons it wont close has anyone else had this problem?

 

Check that the latch lines up with the pin on the hood. You can also extend the pin on the hood by making it looser or tighter. Also make sure the latch is not stuck. Good luck

 

what do u mean by the pin on the hood? its a carbon fiber hood and im using the stock hood latch instead of hood pins. Do you mean i should try to adjust the latch on the hood?
