rare 14"
I am about to pick up some insanely rare wheels. They are 14x7 with a 0 offset, and I want to run them on my Acura (basically an ek sedan).
What size of tire should I get ? I was thinking a 195 55 14?
here's a pic of the wheels

That's why I suggested 185/55/14... 195/60 IS a big sidewall, while it does "traditionally" fit a 7" wheel better, it's going to give you a hard time fitting them with 0 offset on your Acura I would think. What are you planning on doing for bodywork to fit those wheels?

No, it's not a "big sidewall". Remember, in choosing a tire size, you want the outer diameter of the tire to be the same size as the outer diameter of the stock tire. 195/60-14 is within 1 percent in diameter of the stock size of 195/55-15, and in fact, it's smaller than stock.
185/55-14 is MUCH TOO SMALL for your car; it's over 6 percent smaller in diameter than stock, and that's TINY. It is also too narrow to be mounted safely on 14x7 wheels. And the total number of 185/55-14 tires available at the Tire Rack is ZERO. It's just a bad suggestion in every possible way.
If you don't want such a big sidewall, then don't get wheels that are smaller in diameter than stock. They call that a "minus one fitment" and that's the reason the sidewalls are taller than your stock tire size. Get the same diameter wheels (15") if you want to keep the sidewall height the same, or larger diameter wheels (16" or 17") if you want shorter sidewalls.

I was thinking that I would just put these wheels on and they would mostly be for show so I could deal with some smaller diameter then stock wheels for when I have them on. 185 is too narrow tho, and I doubt I would need that much stretch to make them fit flush.
I guess I will have to become friends with my local tire shop so they wont mind slapping a few tires on to see what the best look is. I always have my 205/45/16 wheels for when I want to rip around the track.
