So I changed my valve stem seals on my JDM B18c because of a small amount of blue smoke after coasting in gear to a stop as soon as I take it out of gear and the engine idles it puffs a blue smoke out exhaust. I did a comp. check with all 4 right around 235-240 psi. I put a new PCV valve on too. Thinks the oil rings are bad even with that high a compr.?

 

try the trick where you put a little oil in the cylinder and do the comp test again. you could also try a leakdown test.
