lightest exhaust?
Who made the lightest stainless steel catback for ITR? I really want an exhaust, and I think the lighter one should give me some performance advantage over the other heavier exhaust.
I know Ti exhausts are lighter than all SS exhausts, but I just don't have the $ for them. Plus, I don't really dig the purple tip on those Ti exhaust, it look kind of gay to me. (No offense to anyone here, it just my personal taste.

Fujitubo RM-01A
Kakimoto GT 1.OZ
Apex'i Hayabusa
5 Zigen Miracle Fireball
All are full-catback systems using thinner walled SUS304 stainless steel; all should weigh around 15-16 pounds or so.
For comparision, the Amuse Ti exhausts for DC2 would be in the range of 10-12 lbs for the full catback, depending on which one you get (R1, R1000, Extra).

BuddyClub Spec III, but prepare to get a ticket without the silencer, it's not a street legal exhaust.
It is really quite with the silencer. Very drivable, but the silencer gives it a buzzy exhaust note which is not very appealing IMO.

Can you post a pic of the fujitsubo rm-01a?
According to some of the recent mags, tanabe has come out with the super series exhaust using 1.2mm thick ss piping and claiming that they have a lightweight system. (Except, I dont know too many that deal tanabe stuff; and those that do are really expensive)

OK, since there are so many to choose from, let me norrow it down more.
First, I don't really mind about loud or not, I ride in cars with N1 exhaust, I think it is OK.
Second, I really don't like exhausts with huge tip(around 3"-3.5" would be nice), so seem like the Buddy Club Spec 3 and RM-01A's tip is a bit too big for my taste.
Third, I want something that I can readily get in the North America. I hate to put down a deposit and have to wait 4-6weeks for the exhaust. I have read about people have to wait almost 6 months after they put money down for the Spoon header, and I don't want that happen to me.
So did anyone have pictures of the GT1.0Z and the Hayabusa?

Plus, the silencer kills power. After 5000rpms my car would die with the silencer in my BC Spec II. And with the silencer out, it was too loud to drive on the street.
I don't mind waiting a week or two, but just no a month or two. I understand that shipping from US to Canada is not the quickest these days.
If someone happens to have one in stock, you're in luck.
You'll most likely end up having to stick with your stock exhaust.

But Todd.... your car is a garage queen like mine. It only gets driven to the track... right?
Plus your Spec II was radiculously loud...Kyle - who misses the power with the sliencer in, but loves the loud exhaust note droning in his helmet.
hmm TYone or BC III?
The Type One will fit better, but will be heavier. The BC Spec III comes out at a bit of an angle and sticks out a bit more. Plus it has the "melon-shooter 2000" 4 inch exhaust tip.
I like the BC a lot but there are times when I wished I had bough the T1.
Dave at R&D has both units in stock. The BC is something like $600 shipped right now I believe...

On their video's page, there is a GT1.0z mounted on a 97DC2; that car is fitted with a Spoon header and Kakimoto Test pipe. That might explain why it might be a little louder than usual. I think it weighs between 15-20lbs full cat back stainless.
